Anyhow, at Eurotrain the model never was a real bigseller, despite the good looks and performance. As a consequence it was dropped on the regular Märklin market and other dealers also had their share in the model at a slightly discounted price. Production date must have been somewhere in 2005. I simply had to buy it! I have not descided if I prefer the old or the new version. From a tampering point of view the old is best.
