Hello, I just started building an HO M layout with from the 60s. I wonder if the 7209 distribution boards can be screwed to the laying table. I have done it but it seems that this causes faulty light connections. Many thanks for your help. Oscar.

Hello Oscar

There should be no problem with what you have described. I have many 7209 distribution strips attached to the plywood bottom of my layout with wood screws. I use them with the old style Marklin plugs mainly for yellow ground wires in locations where there are a number of turnouts close together. They also work with Viessmann plugs.
