We are interested in connecting our new 7286 turntable to a digital decoder 7687 and CS2, but need to allocate decoder ports to 40 switches we are installing now. The instruction manual seems to say that the 7687 decoder is fixed to port 15, or may be changed to 14 by soldering a bridge. Do they really mean port 15 on page 1 of the CS2 or do they mean Page 15 of the CS2 (port 240-256) where the operating layout is located?

If it is port 15, I guess we will need to leave this port empty for the time being?

Page 15, that's where it shows up. I only have one page worth of switches and such so I have to go from page one to page 15. Unless I'm using my iPad or iPhone, then I can have page one and page 15 up at the same time.

But did you have to allocate decoder spot #15 on page 1 to the turntable?

No, the turntable is all on page 15. Nothing is on page one that has to do with the turntable.

Thanks for your reply.

Found CS2 instructions that says it's all on page 15 of CS2 so guess I can use port 15 for a turnout.

Thanks again.
