Hello,

How can Pikos H0 freight waggons be so expensive?

Example: http://www.piko-shop.de/...=artikel&vw_id=11755

Whoever pays 68 € for this kind of waggon?

Piko "Classic" wagons are expensive. Their Hobby range is much more reasonably priced.

This is a similar Marklin wagon for only 37.99

When you order through other shops, you should be able to find it with discounts of 13%, maybe 15% or more.

A older version is listed at €50:

Piko are not always the cheap ones. Piko Classic is the expensive line (as Ray already stated), but they offer several very nice models.

I would say that I have purchased a few Piko beer wagons in the recent past, which were not cheap but I have been very happy with the level of detail and the excellent paint jobs, here is a typical wagon, without all the additional grab rails, etc added (see holes);

But perhaps €uros 68 is a bit steep, is this full MRP?
