I bought a Marklin 37702 Ice train 1 on flea bay.

Seller stated, like new excellent condition!

But ?.....the headlights, white and red are missing in the unpowered cab control car.

Should there be lights in the unpowered cab car?

I say yes, but I'm not sure?

Michel

Yes. In fact, the circuit board on the side of the unpowered truck is the switch that transfers back and forth between white and red. The switch is why you have rubber tires on this unpowered truck. The lights at the powered end are switched by the decoder, but these at the back are controlled by that switch.

Edit: It looks like it is all there, I can see three wires feeding around the truck and to the end of the unit, perhaps the lamps are MIA.

But I do have the obligatory (six) SBB Krocs
ECoS 50200, all FX and MFX decoders replaced with ESU V4s, operated in DCC-RailCom+ with ABC brake control.
With the exception of the passenger wagens with Marklin current conducting couplers, all close couplers have been replaced with Roco 40397.

Thank you for the quick response!

Oh yeah, forgot about those. They are magnets and they placed them above each rail. I believe it is a way of increasing traction without adding weight. I found them to be mostly a headache and removed them from my 3750 ICE.
