I was going to built a analog layout. After reading many different topics here I see that digital is the way to go. I was wondering if it is possible to integrate the 7186 turntable in to a digital layout. I didn't want to control the tt in digital. Just wanted to drive the engines in digital on to it but operate the tt analog. Is it possible? I hope somebody can point me in the right direction. I'm not to good of understanding everything what has to do with digitalBigGrin .That's why I wanted to built a analog layout in the first place. If somebody has a ready and simple solution what requires only plug and play let me knowBigGrin . Thanks.

Robert

Hi Robert

I just connected my 7186 turntable (analogue) to my digital track, last night. My track power comes from my MS2 and the yellow(L) & brown(O) wires from the Turntable are plugged into an old blue accessory transformer, i.e. as would be done in a normal analogue layout.

Works like a charm :)
