Greetings all,

Just received my beautiful Marklin 39010,the steamer 01 147.

The loco looks okay from every angle, including the very fragile plastic bits on the wheelframe.

One observation:
The tender has steps on the sides close to the loco cabin.
Both sides have 3 steps but on the lefthandside it has 3 steps and a vertical extension to the step.
I have studied pictures of the 39010 where this extension is not visible.
As such i think it is excess sprue, nothing else.

Could you please check yours and let me know?

Much obliged!

Cheers,
Paul

Some pictures show the vertical extension on the lefthandside, other pictures do not show.
