Hi

I just received a Brawa 42904 loco from Germany and it doesn't have the advertised functionality eg no cab light and no destination light. I am wondering if this is because of my controller, an MS2 that has not been upgraded for some time. Any advice gratefully received.

Hi!

With the MS2 you can access the first 16 functions of the loco - provided the MS2 is optimally configured. If the cab light is in the range F5 through F15 then check your configuration.

Is it an H0 loco? (There is an H0 forum on this site.)
Which class is it?
Which version does your MS2 have?
Regards
Tom

Thanks Tom

I only get five functions when the loco registers. Yes it is H0. I have had the MS2 for three years and no update in that time.

Do you call "Detect loco"?
Do you get a DCC loco?
If yes: add function symbols (under Edit loco) for F5 through F15 as needed - you can also select other symbols for F0 through F4.

You are right - my error, its Brawa 42903. Tom, it reads as a DCC loco, not sure how to add function symbols, but will have a go.

Okey
This model can been reprogrammed by change protocols too.
If you shall use DCC,make sure MS2 stand with this protocol too.
