Fans,
I was looking at 37202 loco which has about 10 functions that can be operated from an MS2.

Most of these days I was collecting these locos b'coz they looked beautiful and detailed with good paint schemes as well. As I am starting to run these locos I am coming up with more and more questions.

Now, I wanted to know how will I be able to access the 9th and 10th functions when the MS2 has only 8 keys? I would be thankful if one can point me to a tutorial on assigning functions to the keys and operating such functions. Especially when the number of functions on the loco is more than the number of keys (in my case 8 keys on the MS2).

Thanks
Vijay

Vijay,

The MS2 screen by default shows F0-F7. To show F8-F15:

While you have the loco up on the MS2 screen, push and hold the red "SHIFT" key on the left side of the red control knob. You will see the functions change, it will show the functions greater than F7.

Then there's figuring out how the functions interact. I've always got problems with the light functions on the forward/back-end lighting - on/off is find, but then there are the various A arrangement or both ends white, etc that work by interacting with other function settings that require Fx+Fy to get result Z.
