Hi, a bit of a rivit spotter question. But when were the G10 box cars phased out of service?
I have one for the belgium service NMBS.
Im assuming the late 60s? Cheers Dan

Hi Dan,
I imagine you are correct.
One famous photograph of a freight yard in Germany taken in 1958, shows more than half the covered wagons are G10 designs.

Hi,

Late 1960s would be good estimation. Here you find a picture of a car in 1970. In this year this type already was so rare that the photographer took a photo. The car is in DB - livery, with an additional text which says that car must not be used outside of the DB-area.
