You might want to get in touch with Jacques Vuyes across the way in France. I have heard good things about his work

Thanks for the endorsement Mike, but I am retired...and have been for over 10 years now!
But that doesn't mean I wouldn't give advice or help with some parts (essentially historic stuff!! BigGrin )
In some cases I have helped machining parts that Märklin no longer provide (like MOD 0.4 replacement gears for old locos )
But a description of the problem and symptoms and a couple of pics are usually all that's needed to have a good idea on what's going on.

Hi Mike, I knew Jacques no longer took on repair work but I am happy to say that Moritz-br365 has kindly agreed to help and said locos will be on their way later today for him to work his magic. Eddie

Hello all,
The first loco is ready for driving:


The second one needs a new pickup shoe. The motor and the alteration switch are on place. Testrun was fine. It will be finished today or tomorrow!
