Hi all Cool

1- What is the difference with 5217 and 5233 Viesmann ?

2- I need of 3 additional S 88. The 1st is Marklin. The new are expensive. I see on the net in a Viesmann notice one 5217 and 2x 5233 connected together . I am a little lost with this notice. So will 3 x 5217 be correct with my S 88 Marklin ?

5217 provides the identical functionality to Märklin s88
5233 provides similar functionality in that it detects a train using current to decide if something is there or not. It is not the same as s88 but can be used in conjunction with s88s.
