Thank you Lasse!
We have great fun with it in my basement, so I thought to spread this. Too many people have large and nice looking layouts, but seldom run trains.. This could be the spark that fires the interest of Rolling cars again. That´s the way it was for me. :)

Very interesting, Martin.

Thanks for making this video. It's made it a bit clearer to me how to use this system.

I must try it one day!

Excellent. I'll admit I don't fully comprehend all of the complexities of operations and what is going on precisely.
I get that the cards represent goods in cars that need to transition from one industry spot to another to another, and in each place, the trains get broke up and reassembled based on destination. Another few views and other 'operations' primers will likely help.

I like the video formats and quality, and you now have a new subscriber.

This is exactly what I mean when I say run a railroad and not just playing trains.

To learn more, join your local model railroad club, they will operate their equipment the same way, even going so far as to work schedules for equipment to pass each other. They may not run Marklin, but you will learn a lot.

But I do have the obligatory (six) SBB Krocs
ECoS 50200, all FX and MFX decoders replaced with ESU V4s, operated in DCC-RailCom+ with ABC brake control.
With the exception of the passenger wagens with Marklin current conducting couplers, all close couplers have been replaced with Roco 40397.

Thanks Martin!

Excellent video, you explained the whole process in 9 minutes the way anyone can implement it.
Seen so many articles and videos, that are half baked. Many times it's assumed that the audience already know most of the details.

We have been operating my friend's layout with switch lists and looking for a way to step up.
Our session takes two hours and includes a shunting on three yards.

Juha
