HI,

Just received a Faller B-SB1 B-SB2 kit in the post today! A nice old find and seems complete.

Hi Lance, looks good!

It seems to be intended for the Faller cable car system. Do you have other parts of this? Can you make a working system?

As a child I was fascinated by the working cable cars I saw on model railways, and I always thought I would have one eventually, but my present layout is too small for such a large feature.

Mostly Marklin.Selection of different eras and European railways
Small C track layout, control by MS2, 100+ trains but run 4-5 at a time.

Interesting item, but I think you'll find it's for the Eheim (now Brawa) Cable Car, to the best of my knowledge Faller never made a cable car - and more's the pity because they'd probably have done a good job of it too !!

Good score

I stand corrected. BigGrin

Now I can see on the box that it says just that.

I could have sworn that Faller used to make a cable car?

Thanks all,

This is the only piece I have now but i hope in time I will find the Eheim 200 kit as in the attached picture. I don't have the room either but maybe in time. Half the fun for me is collecting the items.

HI,

Just picked up these and the ski lift last weekend. Buildings in sorry state and card parts look as if they got damp, some missing pieces. Motor is unusual. It is an electro magnet which pulses and turns the winding mechanism with each pulse. It looks as if it could be a noisy set up. Will have to study it to find out if it works properly.

Enjoy the kits

John
