Two more loco offerings from Jägerndorfer

And some excellent looking silo wagons from NME (Nuremburger Modell Eisenbahnen) they also come in Wascosa Livery. I do not own any items from this company but having held the wagons they look nice and solid and the detailing looks great.

During the rounds at the show I came across a small French manufacturer of landscaping items - Microrama, he had some interesting items which may be of interest to some on the site.

The link to his website is here

In keeping with the landscaping theme, some items on display from Joswood, not sure they are new but they look great, but can also be expensive;

There are a couple of Forum members who are interested in modelling World War II, and there was a great model company displaying a lot of interesting WWII models, they have a number of company brand names including Artmaster mentioned elsewhere in this post, and the group website can be found here (http://www.das-kantoor.de)

Thanks for the pictures Glen.

I'm a bit disappointed that the model shops seem to be reluctant to put up links to the PDF NI brochures that one can glean so much info from. Lokshop haven't posted links to any yet, not even the Marklin ones, and they have usually been one of the first, with links to the others as they become available. I have managed to find most of them (some I have posted links in here for), but it has been a bit of a chase to find them.

Auhagen is one of the ones I still have to track down.

Alan,

You may not find Auhagen without paying, it was one of the companies that you had to pay for a Brochure even at the Toy Fair.

It is always a Catch 22, why buy a brochure if you do not know what is for sale, and if you cannot see the brochure how do you know you may want to buy anything. By providing pdf brochures you dissuade people from paying for hard copy brochures.

Your welcome Peter, glad you are enjoying. I often think things look better in the flesh than in catalogs especially when in some cases the image is a CAD image which often does not do the final product justice.

One thing that is hard to convey is the professionalism of the show, and the biggest pavilion (I believe that is the correct term for a display within a show like this) was the Marklin pavilion and was in my opinion the best presented and most professional. That is not a biased view and I was surprised just how comprehensive it was, it even had it's own refreshment area with waiter service, quite special.

It is great to have the opportunity to share this with the Forum members.

Thanks guys for your kind words, and I am glad you enjoyed the pictures. This year I was lucky enough to be invited to attend and I have enjoyed sharing the experience through this post.

One of the best things about such a show is you get to see the huge diversity of models and products available, often new products which may not be available in the UK and other markets and it is nice to see the actual products in the flesh.

Thanks.

This was my first trip to the Toy Fair, and would highly recommend it. We did a similar thing to your retailers proposed trip Tuesday to Sunday and every day something Marklin.

We based ourselves in Munchen and we did several dealers and some great beer on day one, the Toy Fair on Wednesday then Marklin Museum a trip to our dealer and a trip to mega Train Shop ETS, then Friday we went to Hasn peter Porsche Traumwerk, Saturday and Sunday were reserved for various MRR swap meets and general enjoyment of Munchen and the surrounding locale.

Very recommendable.

Oh no, did Nigel take a large enough suitcase ???? Scared Scared Scared Scared Scared Scared

Well to me, the visit to HPP was the best day of all of 2015.
I guess these guys wanted an encore. Wink
