I'm looking for a book that explains the different classes of German steam locomotives that written in english. The little I know about the different classifications I've learnt from collecting Marklin Trains.

I've found ones that are in German only. Mellow

Thanks!

This may help you. If you Google German steam locomotives there are tables which list the classifications. The old Marklin hand book also listed some classifications. You also have to realize that when Germany government, in the 1920's, took over the railways everything had new numbers. I Googled the history when this event occurred and I surprised how many were taken over.
