Hi everyoneBigGrin

I want to buy this signal. And this is the first time. I never see a signal with this accessory

But when I look at this photo

74391a.jpg

something worries me

Two of this signal will be placed above the hidden ways, thus at the level 1

The small case at the end of 3 wires, I need to remove it to make the wires pass in a 4 mm hole. Is it practicable ?

Thank you for you reply

Have a good day

Hi ae66green

My 7439 are connected to 1 M84.(60841)

From M 84 three wires (light blue 1, dark blue 1 and 1 red) were cut off from 1 meter .....74391 placed on the layout were together connected with marklin sockets and additionnal wires..on the other border of 60841,the same thing for the red wire ( border B of the track)...For me, no problems for the small holes

Don't forget, 2 or 3 red wires for the 60841

If you want, I can make pictures for you

Hi The wolf

I use the same things m84 and 74391. Do you mean you cut the wires and put the wires through the small hole and then re-connect the wires to the plug again with the Marklin socket? Do you mind showing me the picture/photo? I don't want to cut a big hole on my layout to let the big clip (plug) at the end of the 3 wires to go through.

Thanks.

The pictures here

You see M84 with a little hole

The lights are ok

you see green and red sockets

you see the red wire ...I don't need it....cut ...because all my laout ( locos, uncouplers, turnouts,et,,,) is controlled by Itrain

Hoping that it helps you

You would not need to cut and join the red wire anyway as it comes out from the M84 tab and is open ended for joining to the isolated track section (if used) and does not join the signal mast.

Hi Thewolf

Thank you so much for your photos. They are clear enough to me.
