I have 13 of the MARKLIN 74141 Tower Mast Lights installed and working fine. I discovered one that has a very hot resistor. All others are warm but not "hot" to the touch.
I would like to replace the bulb but can't find a replacement part/bulb and or resistor. I am not sure the bulb can be removed from the socket

Regards,

Jim

Does the "hot" resistor have the same color markings as the "warm" ones?

If not, maybe it could be replaced? Or maybe the light bulb used is of the wrong kind and needs to be replaced as you suggest...

When something gets too hot, something is wrong.

Jim is it a light bulb or an LED? If it is a light bulb it should screw out of the lampshade.
