Surprise, surprise: ESU announces H0 coaches.

So far, this information is on their German site only:
http://www.esu.eu/produk...ugwagen-g3637-in-spur-h0

Coaches are announced for Q4/2015 and will be made in DRG, DB, and DR coaches.
Interior lights and AC sliders are also available.
Regards
Tom

There is a brochure (one again German only) that also shows the prices:
http://www.esu.eu/filead...n_Auflage-1_DE_eBook.pdf

Spoiler: it's EUR 54.90 for standard coaches, EUR 59.90 for coaches with restaurant or baggage compartment.
About the same price level as Märklin. It's just that ESU manage to scare the dealers from giving huge discounts and street prices are high, while Märklin street prices are usually 20 to 25 % below RRP if you pre-order early.

There will be livery variations for ÖBB, SNCF, and FNM.

In the thread about the BR 01.5 I wrote that pre-war coaches could be used to make DR coaches from existing moulds. ESU offer them right from the start.

It seems that Brawa announced models of the same prototypes, but those will arrive later.

DC wheelsets. You can connect left-side wheels and right-side wheels inside the coaches. All eight wheels are used for current transmission.

I don't know if they will run on M track, but there shouldn't be any issues with C or K track.
One type of wheels for all - like they do with their locos.

It might be worth giving them a try. I quite fancy the DRG versions.
