in the chapter on memory (advanced settings for the route) two drawings one entering and the other departing via train appear. I'm interested to know what they mean and what they are used

Like underground railway yard?

Thank you contestacion.Me mean that the table exists instruction Memory representing flanked FL entering into a position one way or the train leaving the station via another position.
