1. Are there kits for retrofitting telex (for 3048 and 3518), and if so, what are their part numbers?

2. What is a relatively inexpensive switching locomotive (small with telex or telex can be installed, preferably delta or digital)

3. Why is the 3025 so expensive/sought after?

3025 is high collector items - Value over 1,000 EURO with boxed, Some are low price on eBay.de

3025 was production in 1958-1961 - Only for three years.

The tender frame for telex equipped 3047 and relex equipped 3048 are identical and could be swapped so you would have telex on a 3048. Trucks are also the same.

But I do have the obligatory (six) SBB Krocs
ECoS 50200, all FX and MFX decoders replaced with ESU V4s, operated in DCC-RailCom+ with ABC brake control.
With the exception of the passenger wagens with Marklin current conducting couplers, all close couplers have been replaced with Roco 40397.
