Hi guys.

If you would like to play around with the new C track in SCARM, you can add the track pieces yourself.

I opened the Marklin-HO-C.lib file (located in the SCARM program folder under "Lib") and added the following lines in their repective track sections:

TCurvedRail|24315|24315|515|15|0

TCurvedArrowRail2|24771|24771|2|515|30|515|30|64.3|1
TCurvedArrowRail2|24772|24772|2|515|30|515|30|64.3|0

The Trix version (in Trix-HO-C.lib):

TCurvedRail|62315|62315|515|15|0

TCurvedArrowRail2|62771|62771|2|515|30|515|30|64.3|1
TCurvedArrowRail2|62772|62772|2|515|30|515|30|64.3|0

This seems to do the trick, but perhaps someone will confirm if they agree on the proposed use of the track pieces. Looks right to me.

Rail geometry yes, but roadbed I do not think this will work, If you try to connect the long leg (of say a left curve) directly into the short leg(of a right curve) it is an untidy match.

Add to this the fact that the description specifically says ".. Two (2) each 23315 track are required on the inner and outer curve of the turnout..."

I hope I am wrong as it seems like a waste of make-up sections, however i think this is more likely

I hope you're wrong. Smile

In my example I assume that they made it possible to remove some of the road bed on the turnout itself. That would make my example work, and it would match the description in the product catalogue that you need only two of the 24315. It was the only thing I could think of, when you take the number of 24315s needed into account.

Unless, of course, it is two per turnout.

The picture of the point (but not the picture of the curved track) and the text say that both have removable track bed (just like the 24711 and 24712) and that a filler piece is provided. So I suspect that a curve is needed between the points that do the crossover between tracks. I guess there will be some pieces on display showing how it fits together, at Treff ...

Sören has right.
It´s just like large straight turnouts which have remove some of the road bed.
