Hi, i want to convert my 3556 croc, i want to use a 60901 kit and a lokpilot but i have a doubt with the wiring.
I have found the diagrams for the electronic reverse unit but not for the light diode array on the unit.
That's the way the loco is wired now:
(only lights wiring)

The brown cable in the diode array is solder to this point in the reverse unit:

This point is not described in the diagrams and photos i have found, the ground is showed at the other side of the unit.
Is this brown cable ground?

If so this is the wiring as i think it should be with a lokpilot:
(only wiring for the lights again)

Am i right?
thanks

Hola Francisco, I'd say you only need to make three connections: (for the lights).
Blue from Lopi replaces orange.
White from Lopi replaces Gray.
Yellow from Lopi replaces yellow.
The lights need not to be connected to ground, the blue wire is the +pole for them and white/yellow are the -poles.
Take the ground for the Lopi as usual, from any chassis contact available.
The circuit itself is quite simple: both 'left' lamps are connected together, two diodes are connected from both white and yellow wires to this common connection thru diodes (1N4248 will fit), cathode ringed mark pointing to white and yellow wires, the other end soldered to the common wire.
If you can't resolve, send me a mail and we can arrange a call at night, we have nearly the same time zone.
Be patient, you'll get there!

So Jorge, you mean that i have not to use the original diode array?
I would be happy to can use it, it is already there.
We can make the call if i can't figure it out, but for now only theory, despite i have the 5 pole kits for the croco and other locos, she Boss has told me that i can't can't buy ANYTHING (you get it??!!!!!) not even decoders until next month......

Hola Francisco,
"She the Boss" is called here "Hauptfrau"... and also "La Bruja".
You can use the original diode array, you only need to find out where to solder the lopi's wires to.
Just in case it gets very complicated, you can discard it and install two 1N4001 diodes for having the Swiss Light working.
Be patient, only 5 days to go...
Cheers,

Well Jorge, it is not for this month, but for a complete month from now[V]
Any way do you think the next wiring will work?
Grey is for white

I almost forgot, this brown cable in the first post solder to that unknown point in the revrse unit, what it is? it is ground?
The question is because i have a spare Profilok PD-101 that i can use to digitize the loco in the meanwhile using the AC motor.

Hola Francisco, the brown wire is not ground in the reverse unit. I have one of them and checked it.
The connection above is not correct. Let me try to find a way for drawing a schematic, will post again when I have it. What program are you using to draw your schematics?
In the meantime, let me talk about PD: if your Lok has the old LFCM, don't use a PD, it won't whitstand the current the motor will take.

Hola Jorge, gracias, i will wait for your schematic.
I'm using MS paint since the electronic simulators that i have are demos that doesn' allow to print or export your work.
The croco has a DCM with 5 pole rotor, not a LCFM.
