Hi all,

I have just acquired a Marklin 451G crane (version 1) which came without some parts.

I am looking for the original magnet (red) and also the little fitting that goes on top of the cabin roof and which I believe is unique to this version. I have searched Ebay without success.

Does anyone know where I could source these parts?

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

John

Hi John,

UserPostedImage

Just had a look at this old thread on the magnet topic & Found a picture with the magnet #number:

& then I got this:

This was all I found for available parts:

Dave,

Thank you for taking the time to do the research.

There is one magnet on those listings that possibly will meet my requirements. It has cotton covered cables but the colour is wrong. I might purchase it as I have a later crane also that needs a magnet.

Best wishes,

John

Hello John, you are most welcome. Pity I could not locate your cab roof body part. However just be aware that the cotton covered cables do disintegrate over time but the good news is you can replace them with ordinary cable if skillful with the soldering Iron.

Cheers
