Joined: 10/08/2009(UTC) Posts: 3,443		SSN (Stoom Stichting Nederland) in Rotterdam is a club involved in restoring steamtraction. They are very active and do organize a number of steamtrips each year. Their current collection include 01 1075 (fully operational),65 018 (fully operational),23 023 (being restored),41 105,and 50 1255 (long term project). I am a member of the SSN. It has been decided to fully restore 41 105 once 23 023 is operational again early 2017. This is great news because the series 41 is probably one of the most beautiful German built steamers. 41 105 was built in 1939 by Krupp and was modified to oil firing in the late fifties.
