A BIG thank you to Piet Brijs (Pab) for all the info on fitting the smoker to my 37015 S2/6.
The small star screwdriver from the Marklin toolkit fitted thru the hole in the copper plate under the front bogie as Piet said, and once that screw was loosened, the two back screws are easy to get to.
The body lifted off easily, and the 72270 slid easily into its holder. Then the rubber "hose" was removed, and the body replaced, thankfully the front screw remained in place, so it simply needed to be tightened. And now the Beauty also smokes "beautifully" BigGrin
I had to be careful in placing the loco in my cradle - plenty of sponge and soft cloth for protection, and a beady eye was kept on all the fiddly detail bits, to make sure nothing came adrift.... Scared ...but all is still in place!
Thanks again Piet.....now just waiting for the correct period driver and fireman to arrive....
Joe - from a freezing cold and wet Cape Town....
