Received my 64400 LokSound Decoder from Modellbahnshop-lippe this weekend - they "fitted" the 64446 sound file for me.
The Instruction booklet (88pages!!) is only in German..... Scared ....does anyone have access to an English version? (Or English Instructions).....Or is it a fairly straightforward exercise to fit to my old 1970 V200, which has the 60962 decoder and 60944 motor fitted.....
I only have a MS2, but have access to a CS1.
Many thanks, Joe

You can download the English manuals here:
http://www.esu.eu/en/dow...anuals/digital-decoders/

"Instruction manual for LokSound V4.0 family" should also cover the V4 M4 decoders.

Hi Joe,

If you bought the 51967 21MTC adapter board, it will come with a page of instructions including a wiring diagram and wire color codes for Marklin and NMRA's DCC.

For the decoder itself, probably the default program will work since you will have just headlamps at each end and the sound functions. You can auto tune the motor to the decoder by setting CV 54 to zero and then activating function 1. Have a straight section of track about 10 feet long for it to run through while tuning.

Era 3
DB lokos, coaches and freight cars from across Europe
But I do have the obligatory (six) SBB Krocs
ECoS 50200, all FX and MFX decoders replaced with ESU V4s, operated in DCC-RailCom+ with ABC brake control.
With the exception of the passenger wagens with Marklin current conducting couplers, all close couplers have been replaced with Roco 40397.
