Hi friends, I just received two 70412 new signals. They work beautifully when connected up to the MS2. They , however, are not working with

contact tracks 24994. There is nothing in the instructions regarding this. I have emailed Märklin in Germany. Awaiting their reply.

Any ideas? Thanks,Peter Cool

Hi friends, Märklin just answered me back with this; Peter

"we are sorry but the only way to switch these signals over 24994 is to use the memory of a central station 60215. There is no possibility to switch it directly."

Hi John, I switch them now only with the MS2. I don't have the CS2. They are coming out with an analog control box 72760 in the Fall but this too

I assume will only let you switch them but not use the contact tracks. Peter Mellow

It stand in the manual, that you can only use control box 72760 with the analog operation.
Or else in digital operation with the MS2 or CS2,like other digital system too.

Hi John.

The signal was programmed and works fine with the MS2 according to below scanned diagram. The third connection on the signal (3) is for a 3-wire

connector with 1x red wire, 1x violet wire, and 1x red and violet wire. I tried connecting one of those wires to the 24994 contact track. I assume these wires

are used for analog operation with the new 72760 control box due out in the fall of this year. It did not work with contact track. Märklin tells me that it

will only work with contact tracks if you use the CS2 with memory. Thank,Peter
