Well another year has gone and the 2015 AMRE exhibition came and went.

I was informed that there was a huge lack of entered layouts, and I must admit, when I had a closer look at the exhibition, there was nearly as many traders as layouts and a lot of room. Although at the end of the exhibition I was told that the public turnout was good. Oh well, onto next year.

I was too busy, running the club layout and taking pictures and videos of the other layouts that I didn't get a chance do to video and take photos on our own layoutCrying Crying

First up part of SANGS (South Australian N Gauge Society), the Shinkansen Parade

I won't blame you if you decide to give this a missBlink

Next up is the layout Porthminster, run by BRMA(SA) British Railway Modellers of Australia (South Australia)

Naturally it won the best layout of the exhibition, and was for sale at a measly $A16,000, just reverse your trailer in and take it awayBigGrin Blink Laugh

Sounds rather like the situation we have here in the UK, the modellers with the layouts are not getting any younger, and finding it harder to attend shows because of illness and general infirmity, along iwth increasing travelling costs ...

yes, you cannot be too serious, sometimes it is nice to 'let the hair down' and have a bit of whimsy. A local group to us has several layouts that we cycle through my local clubs show that are like this.

Looks like there was a nice selection of layouts, even if some exhibitors dropped out.
