Marklin dealer wheelset exchange program?

Joined: 24/08/2013(UTC) Posts: 13 Location: Union city		Hi, I collected Marklin for many years (30+) and in 2010 converted many of my newer cars to DC wheelsets to run on Kato HO track. My dealer at the time charged me for all the DC wheelsets. Just in the last year, working with a different dealer, I learned that Marklin dealers will (should?) exchange wheelsets for free. Was the free wheelset exchange program in effect in 2010? Should my dealer at that time have exchanged the wheelsets for free? thanks brh

Joined: 14/03/2005(UTC) Posts: 15,839 Location: Gibraltar, Europe		I thought that the free wheelset exchange applied for new wagons bought from the dealer. Is the dealer supposed to exchange the wheels for free if you take him an old wagon that might have been bought somewhere else?

Joined: 16/02/2004(UTC) Posts: 15,265 Location: DE-NW		Hi! When you buy new cars, some dealers will replace the wheelsets on demand without charge. Some will, some won't - some don't do it for special offers. I never heard of dealers who exchange used wheelsets free of charge.
