Hi all,
I was wandering if anyone has installed interior and marker lights into the 43597 bi-level car set. There is no mention in the catalog and there were no instructions in my set, it doesn't look like a standard slider will work, I may have to do a custom job but I thought I would check for a plug and play set first.
Thanks,
Bill

I'm fairly sure there is a Marklin lighting kit for them, in fact I may have a couple I picked up in a bulk deal last year.

I'll see if I can find them and post the item #.
Sad when its cheaper to buy a new 29640 starter set from Germany than a CS2 on its own in Oz, welcome to the joys of Marklin down under .

Hi, Bill,

I have the Trix version of those coaches - and they are prepared for interior lights. Only problem could be the centre rail slider, as you guessed.
Regards
Tom

That could be a problem: the trucks do not have an offset pivot point and the offset slider may lead to problems (if it fits at all).

The set 73140 is for the 264 mm double stock coaches, the question is about the 303 mm double stock coaches. Did anyone install lights into the 303 mm coaches?
Regards
Tom
