Looking at the comments above, I can only concur. Being (by chance) in the area last Friday, I did pay a visit to the factory as well. Highly recommended if you have the chance. Based on this years experience, I would recommend you to go early as the whole crowd of visitors is lined up through the entire locomotive production and waiting times can be quite long. All well worth the wait, though, as you really get to see a lot. I also appreciated the enthusiasm of the Märklin employees in explaining their jobs and answering questions a lot. Great event and a very nice way for Märklin to engage with enthusiasts and locals.

By the way: the loco currently making up the lion's share of the production was the Cab Forward BR05, hence, to be expected shortly. ;)
