Hi all:

Over the past years, I have accumulated a good number of 1 gauge (Maxi) engines and
cars.

I would like to find replacement of some of the "fire truck nozzle's, hose's and lamps.

I would also like to find coupler replacement and instructions for the Maxi type of cars,
and engine parts.

I have searched the Marklin websites (.de and .com) and can't seem to find any information

Can someone please point me in the right direction. Sorry if this question is obvious
or has been answered in the past. Thank you in advance

Regards

gene

Hi Gene,

The parts for the the trucks are not documented at all. Sometimes it helps to ask at Märklin.

Replacement couplers for the two axle Maxi-cars and most locos are

Code:
E494180 - Set Kupplung (2 Stück )
15,00 € Unverbindliche Preisempfehlung(VPE: 2) Ab Werk lieferbar.

Engl.: Set of two couplers 15.00 EUR Suggested retail price, available ex works .

If only the hook is broken (the moving plastic part) this can be repaired using

Code:

704150 - KUPPLUNGSHAKEN
1,99 € Unverbindliche Preisempfehlung X Ab Werk lieferbar.

Engl: Coupling hook ....

But don't loose the spring when you dismantle the coupler. This is not available any more as a separate spare part.

Which other MAXI- parts are you looking for? Maybe I know the numbers.

Regards

Markus

Thank You so much Markus

Couplings are replacement is what I am most interested in doing. I would like to
mate a couple of PIKO boxcars with my MARKLIN engines.

I will pay special attention to the couplings, thanks to your good advice.

gene

Hi Gene,

If you want to mix up the cars with PIKO cars you can look for the adapter 56105 which was offered around year 2000. The adapter allows to mount LGB- couplers on MAXI-cars. The coupler itself is not part of the set. The set is still offered sometimes on ebay.
