While replacing the traction tires on my lovely 1969 M* BR23(3097)Lok that last E-clip flew off that old crank pin at about a Warp7! I don't have a clue as to where to find a replacement. Are these generic 2 or 3 MM clips, or do they have to be Marklin? Any sources?
Thanks to all, Chas.

Just happened again w/my M# NOS 12/70 3089 and then
my whole freakin' explanation of (my) new problem just vaporized--I will never, ever call a problem an issue, and my new situation is a PROBLEM. And the comma police can roll this up and insert it where the sun don't
shine.
Signing off.

Try APC-Adams, Ritter Restaurationen or maybe Eckert.
In Switzerland, try Amiba http://www.buco-hag-maerklin-ersatzteile.ch

Should not be a problem finding replacements parts for these models, the drive rod clips and nuts are readily available from many vendors online. Just look for Märklin E608090 and Märklin E757020 respectively...

I'm sure they are a standard metric size, use a micrometer and measure the diameter of the shaft. You will not find them any cheaper than you will here: http://www.mcmaster.com/#retaining-rings/=12y4s30 and you won't need to worry about loosing them with 100 count quantities. You'll pay less for 100 from Mcmaster than you will two from Eckert.

But I do have the obligatory (six) SBB Krocs
ECoS 50200, all FX and MFX decoders replaced with ESU V4s, operated in DCC-RailCom+ with ABC brake control.
With the exception of the passenger wagens with Marklin current conducting couplers, all close couplers have been replaced with Roco 40397.

Hi,

You need E608090. Still available from Märklin: http://www.maerklinshop....herungsscheibe-10-stueck
Every good dealer should have it in stock.

Markus

Thank you Markus, I do have a local dealer but he isn't exclusively Marklin. Certainly worth a phone call, though.
Thanks,
Chas
