Hi All
Just to remind everyone that Gaugemaster are having an open weekend on the 3rd and 4th September, normal type of thing, but I understand Marklin are sending over at least one layout and staff, so if you are interested check out the web site.
If you travel by train Ford Station is 10 yards from Gaugemaster, also excellent fish and chips in Selsey at Dens Place.

Harry

Are you going to attend?

I hope it works better than a recent beta version I played with recently. IMHO software has a very long way to go and I hope they will get it right before delivery.

Don't look back, your not heading that way.

I am planning on visiting on Sunday 4th, but we are up in South West Wales on holiday at the moment, travelling back on Saturdsy, so it will be a lot of driving.

It would be good to see Dieter Lorenz again though, it has been many years since I last saw him at the last Insider Digital Training course hosted by Gaugemaster. I think we were still on the CS1 V2 back then!
Can anyone who attended remember what year that was?

If any of the 'old gang' are going to be there please let me know and we can hopefully arrange to meet.

Ashley

I am hoping to get along to it, and it looks like it will have to be the sunday if I do. Can't promise anything though.

Would be good to see Dieter again - and see if they have made any progress with the cs3 software.

It's too far for me to come for a day, but say Hello to Dieter for me if you see him! We met at Nurnberg this year, but I didn't see him in the Märklin offices when I was there in April. It would be interesting to see what CS3 functions he can display!

Yes, will do. Might have to have a bargee with the wife, as she will want packing for holiday to start over weekend, and I have other stuff to do on saturday.

Hi Alan,

Just to confirm I will be there on Sunday around midday for a couple of hours if the travel goes according to plan.
I'll look out for you, I think I will recognise you.

No photos relevant to this forum!

Aside from some very agricultural parking arrangements it was a truly excellent model railway exhibition that I would have been happy to pay a fiver or more entrance fee and it was free!!!!!!

However the Marklin element was limited to the shops small glass case display of M gods unchanged since my last visit and poor Dieter demonstrating the still not quite working CS3 with no great hope for anyone hoping for a Christmas pressie of their pre ordered unit - but he is a very nice guy.

I have a couple of photos of Dieter and the CS3, along with a brief progress report.
But, I am not at home tonight and need to resize the photos, so it will be later this week.
