Hello to all users!

Recently i bought a used starter set 29752 and i am having problems when i try to discover the loco (Henschel class EA 500 electric).
When i try the find loco method in my MS2 i only get one flash of the lights for 1 second and after that nothing else happens and of
course i get the message no loco found!
Is it possible to manually add the loco to my MS2?In the user guide of the set i can see that the loco address is 24.
This loco can be added with DCC/MM2 protocols or MFX?
Many thanks in advance for your time!

The best option is "MM programmable" (or something like that).

You cannot add mfx locos manually and the loco does not support DCC. It does not have DIP switches either.

"Detect loco" is not reliable for modern MM locos with LEDs.

Unfortunately no registration is possible either with the find loco option or the MM2 programmable in the address 24...

I will try the local Marklin shop for extra help..
Thanks again!

All done! The address of the loco was changed somehow from the default 24 to 78 and that was the problem.
AT the marklin local shop we changed the address back to default 24 via CS and the loco works fine!
