I have tried to figure out about new models 2016.
Is there any one of theme which do have new motor or is it still same 3 pole motor?
Like BR 64 39648...
And what does sound decoder do present...it´s still old mfx+ or it´s generation 3?
Any one who knows?

I have no idea what motor is in my latest locos. As long as they run OK I don't complain.

Cool

Something is changed from 39644 to 39648, since the available sounds are different.

It could be just what is loaded into the decoder; but I don't know.

Since they store the ref. number of the loco in the decoder, there will be a new spare-part number for the decoder whenever there is a new ref. number.
This does not imply new decoder hardware. You cannot tell the decoder version from the spare-parts list.

The retail version msd/3 does not have mfx+.

Yes it´s truth, but there is no fact from the Märklin.
It shows only the numbers.
Question is also about the type of motor...

mSD3 doesn´t support +.
It´s correct.

I did started topic to find the answer.
It´s really sad that Märklin are so bad with the information! Cursing
