Hello all!
By now most of these specials from Märklin have been delivered.
We have all seen the pics from the Re460 pulling the officials' inaugural train.
Now here's something for that beautiful Re 420 from the same set.
I must say I really like it!

Will the old route be abandoned or do they expect to keep it in service?
Matt
Era 3
DB lokos, coaches and freight cars from across Europe
But I do have the obligatory (six) SBB Krocs
ECoS 50200, all FX and MFX decoders replaced with ESU V4s, operated in DCC-RailCom+ with ABC brake control.
With the exception of the passenger wagens with Marklin current conducting couplers, all close couplers have been replaced with Roco 40397.

I think that for a time the old road will (fortunately) remain in service albeit at a reduced pace and with fewer long and heavy spectacular trains.
Last time I was there ( last September) the old road was being equipped with ECTS equipment, which I interpret as a positive sign: why spend the big money on a line that will soon be abandoned ?

The H0 scale gravel hoppers most closely matching those in Jacques' video are probably these from Liliput-Bachmann:

Unfortunately no world heritage site here. You may be refering to the Albula line on the RhB.
In any case, I doubt that with the very busy trucks overcrowded free(?)way it could ever qualify.
I feel blessed that I was able to get there 18 times in the last 11 years.
Yes...plenty of pictures that will progressively emerge from the hard drives. 😉😉

Right, from now on the re420 is known as Snow ... ThumpUp

The bottom of the cab door looked like it had taken a fair share of boot marks since the paint job ... ThumbDown
