Dear all. Can anyone tell me please, what chassis the start set uses. I wish to use it in the future for a scratch building project. If any one has one. Can they tell me the length between the centre of each axle please. The loco is from the hobby start set 29284. Cheers Dan

It may help if you post a picture of the box so we know what it looks like.

I tried to find it online but no luck.

The lok seems to be a variant of the Henschel shunter, but it only has two axles instead of the usual three.

I don't know if the dimensions are the same.
I suppose if the description of the locomotive provided the length between buffers, you could interpolate the space between axles from that information using the above linked photos.
