Hello Again,

Either I am facing a strange problem in my MS2 or I am doing/expecting something from the MS2 which isnt correct.

Here is whats happening. Lets say, I register a new loco to my MS2 "Manually" and with "DCC" programming.

Now, if I choose the loco protocol combination selections (available in MS2) of Mfx, DCC, MM2 or DCC,MM2 or Mfx,DCC.
Isnt the loco supposed to function, even if there are no other Mfx or MM2 locos on the track?

The loco has been functioning if I choose "DCC" only. Is this how MS2 is designed to work?

Am I doing something wrong here? Confused Crying

Thanks
Vijay

Depends of the locomotives protocol to choice.
If you have DCC with the locomotive,use DCC in the MS2.
You must first set protocol in the MS2.

DCC = Digital Command Control

Maybe this is how the loco is designed to work.
mfx has the highest priority and DCC will be ignored in the presence of mfx.

The locos I know should respond to DCC if DCC and MM2 are enabled.

You may have to power off the loco and/or the MS2 after changing the protocols.

Regards
Tom
