Hi
I. Have just purchased a Marklin 29000 set with the 2.5 software in the mobile station.

If I plug my old mobile station into the connection box as a slave will the new mobile station be able to update the software on the old mobile station.

Many thanks in advance

Harry

Yes, I recently performed this successfully after buying a new MS 2.

Many thanks for the quick reply.

Could you just confirm that the MS2 with the 2.5 software is the master and the old one is the slave?

In my experience the MS2 with the lower serial number will be the master. This is most likely the MS2 with the old firmware.
For the update it does not matter which one is master.

Yes.
And 17 functions with MM protocol.

Why don't you start a new thread for this off-topic question?
