Hello!
I have few questions to you who has insider models.
E 93 do have 3 pole motor,while BR 18 do have 5 pole motor.
There is digital function and both are mfx+.
So i wonder if you do have got problem(s) with those two locomotives?
Which one of them do you like most?
I have decides to buy one of them, but don´t know which is best to get one.

Hi Anders, I have the BR18, she is running fine and has nice sounds. Depending on what you like you should chose. I would go for the BR18 but I'm prejudiced since I only like steamengines. Regards Rob

Thanks for the info!
I thought there was several more insider member here, but it seems not.
I´m planning too by change out sound decoder to ESU V4 M4 and install power cap.
Is the sound in the E 93 similar same like E 94?

Goofy, it wouldn't surprise me if both Stephen and Ian had one or other of these 2 models.

I would have liked to have got the Br18.5, but finances did not allow it at the time.

Anders, we saw the E93 live in 2 places (Malmö & Copenhagen) and it looked & ran great as far as I could see.
Your question is of course valid regarding the longevity of the motor, but it seems like it's durable enough.
