Interesting the things one can find on ebay!

I remember a few years ago the Brazilian Aircraft carrier 'Minas Gerais' appeared for sale on ebay for a couple of million euros. I believe the listing was removed because ebay does not allow the sale of arms and armaments....

Wasn't there an Br103 rolling chassis on ebay a few years back? I think Stephen may have provided the ebay link for that one as well.

I shudder to think what the cost would be to get it towed through the chunnel ...

But the Great Western is being electrified, so a possibility there .... Laugh Laugh Laugh Laugh Laugh

Frankly, I doubt it.

just think how many 1:87 locos you could buy ? we just have to hope we'll win the net lotto jackpot. the problem with advertised loco its not analog or digital, just a dummy.

DER TRANSPORT KANN AUSSCHLIESSLICH ÜBER EIN SPEZIALTRANSPORTUNTERNEHMEN ALS SONDER- UND SCHWERTRANSPORT ERFOLGEN UND GEHT VOLL ZU LASTEN DES KÄUFERS. BITTE BEACHTEN SIE, DASS BEIM TRANSPORT DIESER SCHNELLZUGLOKOMOTIVE GANZ ERHEBLICHE KOSTEN DURCH ENTSPRECHEND AUFWENDIGE LEISTUNGEN VON KRAN- UND SCHWERTRANSPORTFAHRZEUGEN SOWIE ERFORDERLICHE GENEHMIGUNGEN ANFALLEN!

quickly translated, it can be very expensive to relocate this loco plus you need special permissions to transport if from point A to point B and the buyer has to cough up the transport costs, if this would come out of China or Hong Kong it would have free delivery and it would be the 1/3 of the price.
someone needs to have a reality check, to buy it: for what ? its almost an 1st April joke.
