Hello,

Promoting a bit creativity and dreams, I create this thread for the one who want write here what they like as a fantasy locomotive, I mean
a locomotive that doesn't exist but that could exist.

Here is my "would like to see" fantasy loco:

An S3/7 based on the S2/6. the colours could be the ones Brawa has for the Record loco.
I know BR05 is a 232, so we can look at it as a S3/7 but I prefer extend the current design of the S2/6 because of the streamlined front of the boiler and of the cabin. It could also have a few (not a lot) more pipes. Also the stripes in the boiler are mandatory.
Best regards,
Miguel

A Big Boy done in a brown and cream colouring reminiscent of the UP M10000 rail car set of the early 1930s.

Just Google UP M10000 if interested to see what it looked like.

After Borsig's success with their Mallet they went on to produce a larger version capable of even heavier trains. This is the unique "Triple Mallet".

Interesting. I would add silver or white stripes in the boiler and synchronized smoke. About the tender I think I would prefer a double length half tube.

Didn't that livery, but indeed your idea would produce a very interesting Big Boy!

Using Ray's idea of creating the image of the loco based on existing images, you can see below what is one possibility for my suggestion.

I would prefer the frame in black keeping the other colors as they look.
Also I extended the tender, but I am not sure if an extended tube tender or the tender used in the M* BR18.5 wouldn't fit better. The original S2/6 original
tender, although the look is not super, is low and it allows to see the instruments and commands inside the cabin.
Best regards,
