Hi All

I want to create a loop for my line (see attached) which shows a point with the loop coonecting the two ends. I have noticed that when I do this the red and brown would cross over see diag 1. The points has a red and brown connector wich would be wrong. So before I connect this all up and plug in my CS2 and put a loco on the track. Will this design be ok, even though the red and brown are going to be crossed ?

Tim cs2 red brown dilema.pdf (44kb) downloaded 103 time(s).

I forgot to mention I am using marklin C track

Hi, Tim,

That sort of problem does not exist with Märklin three-rail tracks.

For two-rail tracks there are modules for reversing loops.

Thanks Tom, I can now proceed with the design knowing I will not make an expensive mistake.

I use the Lenz LK200 reverse loop module. It works very well and is easy to setup.

When available, some time next year, you can also use the Märklin/Trix reverse loop module (Trix #66846).

Søren,

I think Tim uses three-rail H0, so his diagram should be brown-red-brown - and at the end of the reversing loop brown meets brown and red meets red.

Yeah, I understood the post as there was an actual problem occurring - and that could only mean two rail. Anyway, now there is an answer for users of both track types. :-)
