MTH 8023265 HO Canadian Pacific GE ES44AC - Marklin 3-Rail w/Proto-Sound 3E

Good Morning Gentlemen.

I am really interested in purchasing the above loco as I have nothing North American in my collection. This one especially as I am Canadian.

I have an old 6021 Control unit and I am concerned that this unit might not run. I had in the past purchased a ESU decoder only to find out that when I got home (I live in Thailand) that it is not compatible with my 6021 Control Unit.

I am purchasing through an ebay dealer Trainz and Crystal the person who replied is of no help. Gee honey you'd think you'd know your product lines. Not many train retailers I know that would walk away on a $400 sale.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have a hole burning in my pocket to purchase a few Christmas goodies that will be carried over by a Canadian friend coming here for holidays over Christmas.

Of course, should any of you find yourself here in Phuket, the first couple of rounds of beer are on me!!
