Hi everyoneBigGrin
I have to configure some signals 4011 Viessmann on my CS2. The signals will be connected to one 60841(k84). In the menu tools of the cs2, how do I have to proceed? To use the icone of the signal or the icon of k84?

Thank you for your answersCool

I guess the reason why you are not getting any responses might be that using a k84 is not the usual choice for controlling a signal. I would use a k83 for a 4011 since it is a 2 aspect signal. You would then set up the decoder address to what you want and on the CS2 Keyboard go to that address and configure the keys for the ports that you are wiring the signal to in the same fashion as you would a normal 2 way turnout.

Does this answer your question or have I misunderstood what you are asking?

Hi Peter BigGrin

I appreciate your replyBigGrin

I am sorry for my a little bit severe answer...I had not thought of the fact that the use of one k84 with a signal was rare.

Now I am in my work office...i will answer this afternoon

Thank you

Hi Serge, Hi Peter,

@Peter: I think you're wrong in suggesting a k83, because Serge doesn't have a signal decoder wired to drive the signal. He uses the M84 as a standard relay to establish a permanent connection between either red on one side on an entry of the M84, and green on the other side of the same entry.

@Serge: There is nothing complicated to declare in the CS2. I suppose you have already declared an address on the M84 using DIP-switches. Remember: When you set an address on the M84, it is the 1st address of a block of 4. So, for instance if you declare the base address of the M84 to be 21, and you use port 2 of the M84 to wire your 4011, then you have to select address 22 (21+1) on the CS2.

Now, in the CS2 "Keyboard" section, select the page showing the range of addresses where you signal is mapped, then go to programming mode and for the address you've chosen (in my example 22), select an icon showing a 2 aspect signal. If you have some doubt about the type of decoder to choose, use "old decoder" or something like that...

Cheers
Fabrice

Sorry my mistake. I just saw k84 in his message and didn't look up the catalogue number as a M84.
