youtube video : crossing

Hi, is there any way I can make the lights and boom more stable ? Lights blinking and boom going up down.

Also tried to connect a light bulb to the contact track set and it flickers a lot ?

using Marklin H0 74923 crossing and Contact Track Set 2295

Hi, Pabbi,

What are you using to power the crossing? Is it running off track power?

I would suggest powering it off a separate transformer (such as 6646, 6647, etc), it can share a common ground (brown wire) with the digital. The Yellow power to the transformer must be independent of the digital power.

Hi!

When used with C track as it should be, the 74923 has a stable boom and the lights do not flicker.
A short touch of the tracks with a hand and the boom goes down for about a second.

Maybe you didn't connect it correctly? Maybe the two wires to the outer rails have been swapped?
Regards
Tom
