G'day all, hope someone can help me.
I can get my 76391 signal working on the test track.
But when I wire it to the layout it doesn't work.
It just shows a red signal and can't be switched.
Any ideas?
All the best.

Do you know the address of the signal?

Do you have the original box? There is a strip in there that is needed to set the digital address of the signal..

yes, I have set the address and the signal works fine on the test track.
But when hooked up to the layout, it doesn't work.

What is the difference between the test track and the layout?

Are you using the same central unit to control both layouts?

As an aside - are these V2 signals or V1?

V2
There are two outlets on the back of the central station.
One is for the layout and the other is for the test track.
The test track is used for programing trains and signals etc.

I suggest you check that you have connected the red and brown wires correctly and that they are not reversed. If the wires are reversed the light will probably turn on but the signal may not respond to commands.
