Hi,
Does anyone know where to look for an F7 Locomotive B Unit's bogie truck. I'm looking for the upper half plastic piece which holds the coupler but I can't find a parts picture or part number, or supplier for that bogie.
Thanks for any information,
-George

I did the same hunt a few months back, but Marklin forced me to use a regular A unit (powered) bogie with the wheel wipers. You can simply remove the wipers or leave them on. This part is 167858 or 167859. I actually do not have stock at the moment, but will see about getting some on order.

Thanks for all the replies.
Frank, the A unit part looks like a good solution. I looked up the Santa Fe F7 parts and saw it listed there with different part no's. Do you know which model number your part numbers are from?
Will you have one for sale? If so then let me know when it comes in. Do you know if there is any difference, aside from wipers, in the 2 part numbers you have. If there is a real difference could you let me know what it is.
Thanks again for the information.
regards,
-George

Hi,
There seems to be a several different part numbers out there. I sent a web query to Marklin parts to see which part no(s) would be compatable with mine, as the parts list for mine is not available. I'll update this when I hear back.
Thanks again,
-George

Hi,
I received a reply from Marklin that the part I need "is available under the spare part number 264460"
When I put 264460 on the spare parts page it returns - 264460 TRUCK FRAME FOR 8842-55.
I couldn't check on a drawing of the part as 8842-55 is not found in the Marklin database.
My email to marklin was for a front Getriebegehäuse, so I hope truck frame is a decent translation.

George:

8842 - 55 means in the range from 8842 to 8855 (BR111) as proved out here (LINK opens pdf at Marklin).
That is the same gear housing (getriebegehause) as the F7.

Yes, 264460 is the part. But also the two parts 184547 and 184548 will do the trick for your F7.

I have some on order, but not sure when they will arrive. Going to be a couple of months I imagine. Reach out to me via my site and I can get one reserved for you.
